THE FUTURE ROLE OF GREEN HYDROGEN

PRESENTER: RUNEEL DALIAH, ANALYST AT LUX RESEARCH

Many stakeholders in the energy industry have long hoped for a hydrogen economy for deep decarbonization of the global energy system, with green hydrogen generated from water electrolysis as the linchpin of this transition. Unfortunately, the future of the hydrogen economy has for too long been tied to the transportation sector, where technology advances in electric vehicles have, by far, overtaken that in fuel cell vehicles.

In this webinar, we will look at how the industrial sector, and not the transportation sector, will breathe new life into hydrogen. We will present an overview of electrochemical technologies needed to drive growth in green hydrogen production and explore the potential of electrolysis for sector coupling of the power and chemical industries.
